REFLECTIONS

Experience

Throughout this module, we delved into the nuances of type design, from typographic systems to creating our own wordmarks and experimenting with font creation. Each task presented unique challenges. Despite that, every task brought new found knowledge and creativity.

Observation

I learnt the importance of balancing aesthetics and practicality. The tasks taught me the importance of precision, thoughtful experimentation and iterative refinement. The tasks also deepened my appreciation for interplay between structure, creativity and branding.

Findings

This journey demonstrated the potential of combining structure and creativity. Whether designing posters using typographic systems or our own wordmark, it was clear than innovation within guidelines lead to dynamic and impactful outcomes.
