INSTRUCTIONS
This is the Module Information Booklet for this module:
EXERCISE 1 - QUANTIFIABLE INFORMATION
In this exercise, we were required to quantify raw data and visualize information as a designed poster. We then needed to present the information according to this principle as a designed poster.
I decided to use foreign coins for this exercise.
I then began sorting the coins by country origin
I decided to sort the coins in a radial pattern while still grouping them by countries
I didnt really like the uneven heights of the stacks so I decided to sort them by amount of coins total.
Final quantify and visualize data:
EXERCISE 2 - L.A.T.C.H INFOGRAPHIC POSTER
In this exercise, we were required to make an infographic poster
Requirements:
Organize a group of information into a visual poster that combines and utilizes the LATCH principles (Minimum 4). We are required to use the digital photo editing/illustration software available to assemble the information into a LATCH infographic poster. We are allowed to reuse back the images but we have to create the rest of visuals to complete the poster.
I decided to go with the anatomy of a perfect burger. I then tried to find references on Pinterest.
Here are some of the references I liked.
I first made the burger deconstructed model in 3D. Adjusted the lightings and positioning of the different elements and camera and rendered it.
Here is the rendered version
Here is the final layout that I came up with:
I then also added some other design elements to make it look like a graphic poster.
This is the final version of the infographic poster:
I realized that im missing one more L.A.T.C.H principal so I reworked it and decided to add the evolution of the burger and also rearrange the nutritional info in alphabetical order.
Here are the changes and the final final version of the poster:
